Surviving the bear market is an extremely difficult task. Just like the end of season, tourists leave with no plans to return. Staying active every day is not only hard during such times, it just feels ridiculous to stay When everyone is packing up and running for the exits. You’d have to be crazy to choose to stay, right?

Ironically, this is actually the best time to be super active within the industry, But more specifically, within the Cognisphere.

Truth be told, if it wasn’t for the Cognisphere, I would just be holding BTC and going about my life with no effort being put into socials or community engagement. SPX6900 has brought back counter-culture to not only crypto but the world as a whole. Peaceful Life Over Greed

It’s easy to get caught up in the idea that life has always been the way it is now. We quickly adapt to our environment and almost forget about past realities - they seem like a distant dream of a time that once was, fading into the background noise of our constantly stimulated minds.

But I remember a time when the world was not as it is now. A time when everyone was not so self absorbed and, to be quite frank, selfish. I’m not entirely sure if this is a byproduct of inflation slowly eroding our sense of security, or the algorithms rewiring our brains to demand constant stimulation. Perhaps it’s both, a perfect storm of economic debasement meeting technological manipulation, creating a generation that can’t sit still long enough to remember what peace actually feels like.

Growing up in the 90s, the world was truly a different place. And whilst there were obviously still problems, there always are, life simply felt more colourful and exciting. There was a buzz just being alive, an energy in the air that didn’t require a screen to feel. And this isn’t solely through the lens of a child looking back with rose tinted glasses. It was the same for adults. They were simply more carefree, more present, more human.

Everybody wasn’t obsessed with money and profit. You could work a regular job and have a comfortable life. Money was more the commodity it’s supposed to be...simply a tool to facilitate living, not something to be worshipped. People understood what “enough” meant. They knew when to stop chasing profit and start living.

Now? Greed has taken over everything.

The Great Deception

As we slowly become more and more addicted to our phones, we become more disconnected from reality. The irony is almost poetic we’re more “connected” than ever, yet more isolated than any generation in human history. We scroll through curated lives, we now live more through our phone and somebody else’s life than our own and we wonder why we feel so empty despite having access to everything.

I understand it’s natural to desire more money when everything is becoming increasingly expensive. When your currency is being debased at an alarming rate, when the purchasing power you had last year evaporates by next month, when working harder somehow means earning less in real terms. Of course you become obsessed with accumulating more. It’s a survival instinct.

But I think it’s important we resist the idea that money will fulfil the empty void so many of us feel.

Because here’s what they don’t tell you: the equality gap has become too large. And what’s the point in being wealthy if everyone you know is still trapped in the rat race? What’s the point of “making it” if you have nobody to share it with? If all your relationships become transactional? If the moment you elevate yourself, you’re isolated from everyone you once knew?

I think we’ve been sold a dream that only benefits institutions and governments, that more money will make everything better. That if we just work harder, hustle more, sacrifice our twenties and thirties, we’ll arrive at some magical destination where everything clicks into place and we’re finally happy, but in reality we will just be older.

The harsh truth is it won’t work that way.

Of course money can make life easier. I’m not naive enough to suggest otherwise. But beyond the essentials: beyond food, shelter, security, basic comfort, we are largely all living the same life. We drive on the same roads. We have access to the same shops and restaurants. We watch the same sunsets. Money simply has the ability to improve living standards, which might temporarily give happiness, but it will be short lived.

Because if you don’t know what you’re actually building toward, no amount of money will ever feel like enough.

What Does Peace Actually Look Like?

My idea of a peaceful life is a slow one. In the south of Spain, waking up to fresh coffee and fresh fruit under the sun. Swimming in my pool without checking my phone. Reading books that actually matter, not productivity porn disguised as self improvement. Long walks where my mind can wander. Late lunches that stretch into siestas. Sunsets watched without documenting them.

Simple. Slow. Peaceful.

What’s yours?

Seriously, stop reading for a moment and think about it. What does your version of peace actually look like? Not the Instagram version. Not the version you think you’re supposed to want. Finite Time

It is all too easy to coast through life forgetting that we are living on borrowed time. Nobody knows how long they have left yet we continue to live as though we will be here forever. From careers to relationships nothing feels urgent other than the persistent longing for more money.

The debasement of our currencies and therefore the debasement of our hard work has been quietly niggling away at our ambition for some time. We no longer think in decades, we barely even think in years. For most it’s hard to see past the end of the week. I remember when the question “where do you see yourself in 5 years?” would be thrown around regularly - most people simply do not think this way anymore. Some might argue it’s due to attention span - how can you think years ahead when you can’t even concentrate for 5 minutes? It could be the never ending price increases and size decreases in everything we consume - a result of currency debasement. Others might argue it’s got to the point where it’s hard to imagine a future better than today so why even plan for it?

The Information Age gave us knowledge in abundance, now information is simply distorted. A distracted mind is a paralysed mind. Everyone has their own opinions of what has all but halted the essence of life. The colour, the beauty, the magic. It’s been stolen from us. The truth is money plays a key role in our mental wellbeing, more from a security standpoint than anything else but it cannot be escaped. Subconsciously everyone feels poorer daily which has catastrophic consequences on society and that’s before we throw the major attention deficits and every other issue into the mix.

This is a problem which cannot quickly be resolved and although I believe most people aren’t aware of what the root cause of the problem is, the legacy media has given people a few options to choose from. Again, none of which have a quick remedy leading to the never ending loop of short term thinking and short term time horizons for everything.

This ideology seeps into our psyche uninvited. The repercussions can be seen throughout society. People talk of crypto sentiment being at historic lows - well the sentiment throughout society, especially in the west is at all time lows. Why make strategic investments with a 10 year time horizon when you can gamble on football tonight? This is the current mindset of young men and to be frank, I don’t blame them. Why worry and sacrifice now for a future that’s so uncertain?

The Future Is Coming Anyway

But here’s the truth they don’t want you to understand: the future is coming whether you plan for it or not.

The next 5 years will pass. That’s not a prediction, it’s a certainty. The only question is: will you arrive at 2030 five years closer to your dreams, or five years deeper in the trap you’re already in?

The currencies will still be getting debased. No doubt there will still be ongoing political issues worldwide. The chaos isn’t going anywhere. But neither is time. It keeps moving, indifferent to your uncertainty, your fear, your paralysis.

Stop Trading

I have no doubt that within the last 6 years that you have encountered trading content in one form or another. Whether it was stumbling across the latest guru trying to get you to buy their course, or consuming content from a “legit trader”. This seems to have become a rite of passage with investors. Almost as if it’s something we must all be lured into, until we realise it’s not only a terrible path to financial freedom but it is also the exact path that will lead you to unhappiness and financial ruin.

There is no purpose behind trading other than making money for your own personal gain. You don’t help anyone, it’s a zero sum game - you quite literally contribute nothing meaningful to society. Some may argue traders provide capital to markets that help the world function, whilst mildly true - the market existed and functioned long before they deposited capital and tried to be a “trader”. If the market operates the same with or without you, what value do you actually add?

Everyone Finds Out The Hard Way

One of the main problems with trading is you enter into a never ending feed back loop - the most successful “traders” all spout stories of how it took them 5- 7 years to reach consistency. So you believe you need more time to “learn” or you just haven’t “mastered” your emotions yet - One of my favourite quotes is “you don’t truly know yourself until you start trading” like gambling on candles is some sort of mystic journey that philosophers must go on. Most of these people sell a course but not to make money - simply to give back and “help” others navigate their way through the maze of the market - next joke.

Gambling on markets has recently became popular again, but there is a reason your parents and their parents before them never went near trading. You may think it’s because you’re more informed than your parents and grandparents with access to the internet and all the information in the world at your finger tips but this is simply not true. The truth is it takes 3 generations to forget old truths. The reason your parents and grandparents likely avoided the market altogether is because they remember the destruction it caused.

How The Past Shapes The Future

The market is not a new concept, Sir Issac Newton, widely regarded as one of the greatest scientific minds in history for his contributions to physics, mathematics and astronomy also fell victim to the market. In 1720 during the south sea bubble - an infamous stock mania in England. He initially profited by selling shares but then bought back at higher prices to the sum of £20,000, a fortune in these days the equivalent to millions in today’s money and of course in the end he lost everything. He infamously said - “ I can calculate the motions of the heavenly bodies, but not the madness of people.”

Let’s rewind to 1921 - the last time leverage trading was extremely popular as it is today. The 1920’s stock market boom was an era of rampant speculation that drew in ordinary people, transforming them into amateur traders. From 1921-1929 market indices surged 44% to 500% fuelled by “new era” optimism where stocks were hyped as a sure path to wealth.

The public engaged in unintelligent speculation buying “hot” new stocks and trading on margin and chasing prices - blurring the line between investing and gambling. Sound familiar?

The bubble burst with the 1929 crash putting an end to the 8 year long bull market, the decline across the board devastated ordinary families, many of whom had quit jobs to trade full-time and lost everything on margin. Even blue chip stocks collapsed.

The aftermath created a profound aversion to stocks and trading overall that deterred the public from participation in the markets for decades. Even 18 years after the collapse in 1948 a federal reserve survey revealed 90% of Americans viewed stocks as “not safe, a gamble or unfamiliar.” This cautious attitude stemmed from psychological trauma and economic scars. The 1929 crash was so bad It literally caused generational wariness of the dangers of markets which now seems long forgotten.

Unfortunately when important lessons of the past are forgotten they are destined to be repeated.

The Gambling Boom

Since 2020 trading has become a way to gamble which seems somewhat intelligent, you download trading view, start to learn TA on YouTube or maybe you even pay for a course, no doubt you will find someone who seems “legit”. You study hard and eventually fund your account with a reasonably low amount - $300 you justify it by telling yourself you’ve “done the work” you “know what you’re doing” before long the $300 is down to $7 and you tell yourself “you need to study harder” and the cycle repeats. Before long you’ve simply got a $300 a month gambling problem masked as “investing in trading”. Of course the $ amount only spirals as you get more and more addicted.

So where does this leave us? If trading is just gambling with extra steps, and the same patterns from 1929 are repeating themselves right now in 2025, what’s the actual answer?

The Real Solution

The most common investing advice you hear is “just DCA into the S&P500.” But here’s what they don’t tell you: you’re funding the very corporations that engineer the addiction and exploitation you’re trying to escape. Every dollar you put into the S&P500 funds companies that treat humans as cattle to be monetised, manipulated, and enslaved through behavioural engineering.

That isn’t investing, it’s funding your own oppression.

The AI revolution

The idea of having a “secure” job in 2026 is nothing short of laughable. Humans crave certainty in 4 main aspects of life -

1. Stable income

2. Shelter

3. Community

4. Identity

If one of these 4 pillars fall, mental health deteriorates fast:

Stable Income - When Klarna’s AI handles the work of 700 agents, those aren’t just jobs lost - it’s 700 families who can no longer predict next months rent. The gig economy already showed us precarious income. AI makes it exponential.

Shelter - Housing costs have outpaced wages for decades. The median age of US homebuyers has rocketed from 39 in 2008 to 59 years old today - nearly 60 before owning a home is ridiculous. Now add mass unemployment. The 30 year mortgage assumes 30 years of stable employment ahead of you - a concept that’s becoming extinct. A 59 year old first time buyer has maybe 10-15 years working left, if they’re lucky. When AI eliminates their income halfway through that mortgage, What happens to shelter then?

Community - Work isn’t just income - it’s where we meet people, build relationships, find belonging. Remote work started isolation. AI hammers it home.

Identity - “What do you do?” is the second question we ask after someone’s name. When millions of people can’t answer that question anymore, Who are they? What will they do with their life?

The evidence is concrete. Klarna replaced 700 customer service agents with AI chatbots in 2024. Dropbox cut 500 employees citing AI making roles redundant. In May 2023, companies reported 3,900 job cuts specifically due to AI - the first time it was tracked as a distinct cause. Goldman Sachs estimates AI could automate 300 million full-time jobs globally. This wave is only just beginning.

The disappearance of jobs as we know it is becoming abundantly clear throughout society. Millennials and older Gen-zs were brought up to believe that if you study hard, do well at school and go to university then you would be able to have the life you dreamt of. A big house with an attractive partner and a couple of nice cars outside was all yours. All you had to do was get a degree.

Of course sooner or later one by one people started to realise this was no longer true. The share of US unemployed workers with four-year degrees has nearly tripled since 1995 - from around 9% to over 25% today. The degree that was supposed to guarantee security now guarantees nothing. This is a new phenomenon and yet to become common consensus but it’s not far away. The repercussions are becoming too hard to ignore.

Before the industrial era nobody was employed. Full time employment was literally unheard of. As William Bridges once said, “Before 1800 - and long after in many cases - job always referred to some particular task or undertaking, never to a role or position in an organisation... Between 1700 and 1890, the Oxford English Dictionary finds many uses of terms like job-coachman, job-doctor, and job-gardner all referring to people hired on a one-time basis. Job work (another frequent term) was occasional work, not regular employment.”

It’s very possible we will return to a similar way of life in the AI age, Whilst opportunity will always be available for those who search for it, the disruption that’s coming will be unprecedented. We as humans have never gone through such a reality altering transition. Life as we’ve known it will cease to exist.

Why This Time is Different

“But wait,” you might think, “haven’t we heard this before? People panicked about tractors replacing farm workers, assembly lines replacing craftsmen, computers replacing typists. We adapted, we always adapt”

This time is fundamentally different and here’s why.

Previous waves of automation replaced physical labor. Tractors took over plowing fields. Factory machines took over assembly work. These innovations displaced manual workers, yes - but they also created a clear path forward: the move into cognitive work - Get an education. Work with your mind instead of your hands. The white- collar job became the safe haven.

AI eliminates that haven entirely. It’s not coming for your limbs - it’s coming for your brain. The lawyer reviewing contracts, the analyst building spreadsheets, the programmer writing code, the designer creating graphics - these were suppose to be automation - proof careers. They’re now the most vulnerable.

The speed of change is unprecedented. The Industrial Revolution unfolded over generations. Workers had time to retrain. Their children could prepare for different careers. AI is compressing that timeline from decades into years. A customer service rep laid off today doesn’t have 20 years to learn a new profession. They have rent due at the start of the month.

Most critically, there’s no obvious “next tier” to climb to. When farming jobs disappeared people moved to factories. When factory jobs declined, people moved to white collar offices. When AI takes the office jobs... Where exactly do hundreds of millions of workers go?

This isn’t speculation. Mckinsey projects 12 million occupational shifts in the US alone by 2030 due to generative AI. Developers using AI assistants already complete tasks 55% faster - meaning fewer developers are needed for the same output.

Early crypto Investor Murad said - “AI will cause hundreds of millions of people to lose their jobs, their wealth and their income. But what’s more important - is that all those people will lose their identity, their status, their meaning, their sense of self-worth.”

The 4 Pillars that held society together - stable income, shelter, community, identity - are cracking simultaneously, When previous economic disruptions hit, at least some pillars remained standing. The Great Depression destroyed income but left community in tact. The 2008 crash devastated shelter but people kept their identities through work. AI threatens all four at once.

We’re already living through the aftermath of isolation triggered by Covid-19. Remote work severed community ties. Housing became unaffordable for an entire generation. Now AI has arrived to finish the job, eliminating income and identity in one algorithmic sweep.

Society is breaking down in real time. AI will be the spark that makes it explode. The question isn’t whether this transition is coming - It’s whether we’ll acknowledge it before the collapse is irreversible.

Finding Hope in 2026

In a world where hope is becoming increasingly rare, people are looking for a reality that offers them belief in a better future. There are billions of people that feel as though they have been outcasted from society via financial constraints. This is magnified in the West due to social upbringing, Millennials & Gen-Z were groomed for a world that no longer exists. This build up of energy & ultimately anger and frustration must be channelled into something. The powers that be try to exasperate this energy by inciting degeneracy in forms such as porn, gambling, drinking and drugs to name a few. This has worked for previous generations, however as the internet continuously ingrains itself into the lives of the youth, the past playbook is no longer working as seen in 2025.

Governments over-thrown or collapsed in 2025 -

Nepal -Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli resigned amid widespread Gen-Z protests against corruption and a social media ban; parliament buildings were set on fire, leading to an interim government under Sushila Karki and elections set for 2026.

Madagascar -President Andry Rajoelina fled after youth-led protests over shortages and corruption; the military’s elite CAPSAT unit seized power, with Colonel Michael Randrianirina appointed interim president.

Peru - President Dina Boluarte was impeached and removed by Congress for moral incapacity amid scandals and rising crime; Congress president José Jerí assumed the interim presidency.

South Korea - President Yoon Suk Yeol was impeached by parliament and removed by the Constitutional Court after his short-lived martial law declaration sparked nationwide protests.

Bulgaria - The coalition government under Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov resigned after mass protests against corruption and a proposed tax-heavy 2026 budget; snap elections became likely.

And of course the Iranian uprising that we are currently living through.

Peru uprising 2025

It is widely accepted that governments ruling over its people as they do today is normal however, historically it is not. Sovereign nation states with centralised authority as we know them today is a fairly new concept. Ultimately nationalism intensified during the French Revolution in 1789 which popularised the idea of a state aligned with a shared national identity, language and culture. The purpose of a government is to serve the people of said country. The taxes citizens pay is supposed to be for protection and the opportunity to do business in peace without the threat of violence. So by definition if your country is not safe, the government has failed its people and should be dismantled immediately. First and for-most the government’s role is to serve the people, yet in 2026 it seems as though their role is to simply mass extract from all citizens. This is before we touch on the corruption present in every government across the world. It seems more prevalent in the West in recent times as westerners have been brought up to believe other countries are corrupt but never their own. With this world view now in tatters, people are naturally angry and ready to point the finger.

French Revolution 1789-1799

As the majority slowly wake up to what fiat money is and what real money is, life as we’ve known it can simply not continue. The chickens have come home to roost, so to speak. We’ve seen new all time-highs for both Gold and Silver in 2025 and this has continued into 2026. The last time Gold & Silver both made new all-time highs together was the late 1970’s - a period marked by severe economic and geopolitical turmoil, including:

• Rampant inflation: US inflation rates hit double digits, peaking around 13-14% in 1979-1980, eroding confidence in fiat currencies and driving investors to precious metals as a hedge.

• Oil shocks: The 1979 Iranian Revolution disrupted global oil supplies, causing prices to spike, which fuelled broader inflationary pressures and economic instability.

• Geopolitical tensions: The Soviet Union’s invasion of Afghanistan in December 1979 heightened Cold War fears, boosting safe-haven demand for Gold and Silver.

• Monetary policy shifts: federal Reserve Chair Paul Volcker began aggressively hiking interest rates in late 1979 to combat inflation, but the initial uncertainty contributed to the metals rally before higher rates eventually cooled it.

- Do any of these events seem familiar?

It is slightly disturbing that around nearly half of today’s population lived through these events yet they seem to have completely forgotten all about it in just 46 years. How is this possible and how have we allowed this to happen again? History tells us that civilisations on average last around 250 years before a certain boiling point occurs. Civilisations from the Romans to the Ottomans fell due to expanding the money supply too aggressively, eventually losing the trust of its citizens resulting in civil unrest. It is quite literally a tale as old as time. To quote Micheal Saylor - “ If you hold your family’s wealth in the Argentinian peso you will lose 99% of your wealth in 20 years. If you hold you family’s wealth in the American dollar you lose 99% of your wealth over 90 years.” This is inhumane and must cease to continue.

The price of one can of soup from 1895-2025

Money is simply stored time and energy and at the very least should hold its purchasing power over time and not be debased at an average of 7-10% a year. There is no other way to describe this taxation other than theft. Even during America’s strongest Gold Standard (1879-1914) when the dollar was supposedly ‘stable’, power still found ways to manipulate money through wars, banking schemes and eventually devaluations. True stability has always been temporary and those in control never stop manipulating the system. To put it bluntly, it seems those who retain power simply cannot help themselves and therefore we shouldn’t trust them with our time and energy.

They cannot take our hope.

True assets must have a fixed supply and be decentralised to stop bad actors stealing from the people.

The question is no longer will the system break but what people will choose to believe in when it does.
